I am here with Rinea and this month we are partnering with Rita Barakat to showcase her beautiful stamps and stencils. Please be sure to stop over at Rinea blog to see all the gorgeous projects the design team has created.
For my project today, I have a birthday invitation in a pocket envelope to share with you. I created it using the Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack. This pack has beautiful foiled paper and can be used for so many projects!
To create the pocket I cut a piece of 12 x 12 paper in half and scored the sides. I wrapped the foiled paper around the card stock adhering it with glue. I then cut a belly band to wrap around the card. I foiled the invite with balloons and cut it out with a circle and cut a larger circle using the silver foiled paper from the Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack.and adhered the two pieces and attached it to the belly band with glue.
To create the invitation I cut a piece of black card stock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, I cut a piece of silver foil paper from the Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack.. I stamped the image from Rita Barakat stamp called Sing (do you see the music notes in her hair) with Stazon black ink. I created the bottom portion of the invitation and attached it to the card panel.
