Retro Rubber Challenge #91 - Sketch

Tuesday, July 17, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a sketch! Thank you Claire for such a cute sketch! I love it.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.
No automatic alt text available.

Here is my take on the challenge. My card is an A2 card, it's clean and simple. The sentiment I used on my card is an oldie but goody stamp set that I love from Hero Arts called Year Round Sentiments. This stamp set was released sometime in December 2014.  This set is so versatile, it has many sentiments for anytime of the year.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations! Thank you for stopping by, you have until July 27th to join the fun!

  1. Your card is lovely, my very favorite! I'm new to your blog but love what I see. Time for a large cup of coffee and extensive reading of your blog. Have a great day.

  2. Hello Donna: I love the fresh approach to the sketch, beautiful colors on each and every panel, the butterfly is the most delightful finishing touch.
    Beautiful card Teammate.

  3. Love your card and the great color combo. Great stamp set you used for the sentiment. Love the font style.

  4. Beautiful card and a great choice of colors.

  5. Lovely colours, Donna ... and such a delicious soft background for your bright, sunny butterfly panel ... so pretty! Thanks for your visit and kind words! Anita :)

  6. Very pretty spring/summer card, Donna! The font of the stamp is timeless and great to keep in your stamp stash. Looks like you and I both love stitching on our cards!

  7. Such a serene card. It conjures up visions of warm spring days with the promise of summer just around the corner. I think it's the wonderful colours you've chosen and that tantalising wee butterfly just about to flit away. Lovely, Donna.

  8. Donna, Love how you have used the sketch, the colour combo is great and I love the soft leaf print. So glad that you liked the sketch. Cx
