a2z Scrapbooking - Hero Arts Thank You

Tuesday, May 9, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking to share with you another card.  This month's challenge is "Sentiment Focus".  If you would like to join in on the fun, you can link your project up here.  All you have to do is use any Hero Arts product.

Sentiment Focus

Here is my card, I am using the Hero Arts Thank you Pair Fancy Die as my focal sentiment.

Here is how I put my card together:

1.  My card is an A2 card,
2.  I die cut two rectangle layers, 1 in black and 1 in white with the Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity dies,
3.  I used some water color paint to added the background,
4.  I then splattered some black paint to the watercolor background,
5.  I die cut the thank you out and used some glossy accent to the words to give it some dimension,
6.  After the background and the words dried, I adhered them the words to the card,
7.  I then stamped with versamark, embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder, heat set the words from the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Thanks Set,
8.  I finished my card with some clear sequins.

a2z Scrapbooking Challenge - Hero Arts Color Layering Rooster

Sunday, April 30, 2017

Hello everyone!

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking to share with you another card.  This month's challenge is "Getting to Know You".  If you would like to join in on the fun, you can link your project up here.  All you have to do is use any Hero Arts product which should be your favorite Hero Art Stamp Set, Ink, etc since this is "getting to know you" challenge and tell us why.

Here is my card, I am using the Hero Arts Color Layering Rooster.  If you have not tried these layering stamp sets, they are so easy to do.  The stamps sets come with suggested colors you can use, which makes it so easy!

Here is how I put my card together:

I had the perfect paper  to use with the rooster.  I used the Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity dies to cut my layers.  I used the suggested colors to stamp my rooster, all except the blue.  I find it easier to die cut the image out first and use the opposite piece to center my image to stamp.  I added my sentiment, added some foam tape and popped the rooster on the layered card.

If you like any of the products I used on my card, please stop over at the a2z Scrapbooking Esty store. You can also use the code "Donna15" to receive 15% off of a $25.00 order.

Friday, February 24, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking and the challenge for this month is "Shades of Red". You can link your project here. Please be sure that your project contains at least ONE main HERO ART Product as the focal element!

Here is my card, I am using the new stamp set "Oh La La",  I used Hero Arts Crimson to stamp the words for the background of the card.  I stamp the little poodle from the "Oh La La" stamp set, fuzzy cut it out and colored it with copics.  I then stamp the Destination Paris stamp with Hero Arts Soft Sand and die cut it out with the Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity Dies.  I finished the card off by adding some of the new Hero Arts Ombre Blush Sequins.
