Christmas In July with Joy Clair Stamps

Tuesday, July 24, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair stamps and we are celebrating Christmas in July.  One of my favorite type of card to make are Christmas cards, how about you?

My card is made from the Joy Clair stamp set Christmas Penguin.  This is such a cute stamp set, it has 8 penguins in the set.  I used three and I used different mediums on each.  For the background I masked off four sides of the layer, I then used distressed inks to get the blue background.  I then embossed the layer with an embossing folder.  I colored the penguins with copics and used foam tape to add them to my card.  I finished my card off by adding the sentiment from the Joy Clair Merry Christmas Sentiments.

Closer look at my card, the first penguin I used Liquid Applique, the second penguin, I colored the ornaments with copics and used glossy accents to make them shinny and the last penguin I used stickles on the snowflakes on the hat.

Hello everyone,

I am stopping in to play along with CAS(E) this Sketch #194.  I am using the newly released stamp set by Gina K. Designs called Noel, which is one of my favorite sets by far.  I stamped the sentiment with GKD black onyx, I embossed my background with a Darcie embossing folder called Snowflakes, and added the design paper from GKD called Home for the Holiday's.  I finished the card by adding some Rhinestones!

Thank you for stopping by, if you have not joined the blog hop over on Gina K's blog, please stop by and join the fun.  The design team has made some beautiful projects with the new release!
