Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #135 - Tic Tac Toe

Tuesday, May 19, 2020

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is one of my favorite Challenge's, Tic Tac Toe.  My tic tac toe is die cut or punch, birthday and bright colors.  I hope you will join in on the fun!

If you have never played along with Retro Rubber Challenge blog, you can create what ever you want, the only thing we ask is to use at least one stamp on your project older than a year. You also must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see your take on the challenge.

Here is my card for your inspiration. The stamp set is a Gina K. Designs mini set called "Wishes", which you could also buy the word "wishes". The set was released April 2019.

My card is an A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), I die cut the front of the panel with the floral die cut, I had an alcohol background that I created and adhered it to the back of the front panel.  I often create alcohol backgrounds and when I need one, I can just reach for it.  I then die cut the word "wishes" with black card stock, added some wink of stella and then added some glossy accent.  I sat this aside to dry.  I then stamped the word birthday from the mini stamp set Wishes on white card stock and adhered it to the card and added the word "wishes".

Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until May 29th to join the fun!

  4. Super wow! Donna, this is superb! I love your bright panel. I'm going to have to track down some alcohol inks if this is what you can do with them. The die cut is another great big WOW.

  5. Such a beautiful card Donna, I am with you on the alcohol ink panels. I have a bunch and smooshed ones that I love to have on hand. The die-cut flower panel is wonderful, and pops off that background. Cx
