Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Anything Goes #99

Tuesday, November 6, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Anything Goes"!  I love challenges with anything goes, because you can create anything you would like! I have created a fall/autumn themed card.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

The stamp I used on my card is made by Deep Red stamps called Fall Leaves and was released sometime in September 2013.  This is totally a guess, I could not find it on their website on when the stamp was released, but I have had this stamp in my stash for lots of years!

Here is my card I created for the challenge.

My card is an A2 card, and I used watercolor paper and watercolor ink for the background.  I stamped the image on the background after it was dried.  The sentiment is from the same set.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until November 16th to join the fun!

  1. So lovely! I like the two coloured inky background and simple silhouette. I think the layering really makes the whole so cohesive and elegant.
