Retarte Challenge 88 - Anything Goes (Cutting Cafe)

Tuesday, October 18, 2016

I HAVE THREE POST TODAY, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GINA K BLOG HOP, PLEASE CLICK HERE, A2Z Scrapbooking click here.

Hello everyone,

I am here with Retarte Challenge Blog featuring "The Cutting Cafe" which has printable stamps and cutting files.  They also have custom clear photopolymers stamps and other items in their store.  I have been a fan of The Cutting Cafe for many years.  Today I am using the Halloween and Fall Shaker Cards - Templates and Cutting Files.  There are 5 different shakers in this set with lots of sentiments for every shaker.  I am using the Boo Word Shaker Set.  There are seven sentiments with this file.

If you did not know, the challenges for Retarte are always "anything goes", so I hope you will stop by and join in on the fun.

Here is my card I created.  I cut all the pieces out with my Silhouette.  The instructions are so great in the cutting files.  Also, if you don't have a silhouette, there are PDF files you can just cut any of the items with scissors.

I adhered the white piece onto the orange part of my card.  I added some foam tape onto the white part and added my sequins.  I adhered some clear film onto the black piece of the card and adhered it to my card.  So quick and simple!  Love these shakers.

Closer look at the card.  Don't you love the sequins in the shaker.  Do you see the ghost?

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will join the challenge.

Retarte Challenge - Anything Goes (Moon Flower Digi Stamps)

Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Hello everyone,

Today I am here with  Retarte Challenge blog featuring Moon Flower Digital Stamps and my image I am using today is called Gina Steampunk.   Moon Flower digital stamps are adorable and they are easy to print and color, please stop over at their Etsy store and check out all the adorable images!

If you did not know, the challenges for Retarte are always "anything goes", so I hope you will stop by and join in on the fun.

On to my card, I cut the digi (Gina Steampunk) out using my Silhouette and colored here with copics.  I also cut the coffin and the corset with my silhouette.

How I made my card:

1. I used my crop a dil and set the eyelets.  Then I added the ribbon and tied a bow at the top.
2.  I added my layers and then adhered the digi stamp to the layers,
3.  I added the gears to give the layer a little more dimension,
4.  I stamped the inside of my card to finish it off.
5.  I added some wink of stella to her outfit to give it some shimmer, but you cannot tell in the picture.

Closer look at the card inside of the corset.  You could add a note on the back of this or in the inside.

Closer look at the stamp sentiment inside.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will join the challenge.
