The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my take on the sketch for your inspiration:

D. Idlet, Spellbinder Raining Pumpkin Press Plate, Pinkfresh Basic Banners Everyday, pumpkins, thank you card, sketch

My card is an A2 card. I cut the bottom layer from some cardstock from my stash. I cut it at 4 x 5 1/4, and cut it in half. I adhered it to the card base. The pumpkin background is a created by Spellbinders called Raining Pumpkin Press Plate which was exclusively released to independent retailers. I used my Betterpress to create the background and there is a coordinating stencil, I used to ink blend the pumpkins.  I die cut it using Spellbinders Essential Arches Etched Dies, I created a frame to go around the pumpkin background. I then stamped, embossed and die cut the sentiment from Pinkfresh called Basic Banners Everyday Stamp Set which was released in June 2023.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

D Idlet, Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set, holiday release, Christmas Tree, Newton's Nook Designs

My card is an A2 Split Front Fun Fold card. To create the card I started with a standard card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Start with an 11″ x 4 1/4″ (1/2 of an 8 1/2 x 11) card base score at 5 1/2″, put your card base on your paper cutter at the score line and cut at 1 1/2″, then cut a 1 1/2″ strip from the piece you cut off. The 1 1/2″ strip is going to be at the bottom of the card front. The layering paper front is from the newly released 6x6 Christmas Basics Paper Pad. The inside NND paper is from the 6x6 Christmas Time Paper Pad.  I cut the design paper about 1/8 inch smaller.  There are lots of video tutorials on youtube if you cannot follow these instructions, just search for Split Front Fun Fold card.

D Idlet, Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set, holiday release, Christmas Tree, Newton's Nook Designs

The front layer is approximately cut 3 1/2 x 4.  The image is from the NEWLY released Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set with the Coordinating Die Set.  I stamped, colored and die cut the image.  I added some glossy accent onto the oranments, and some glitter onto the hats.  I used pop dots to add it to the front of the card.  To finish the card off, I added the sentiment from the Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set.
