REVEAL DAY 4 - NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - October 2024 HOLIDAY RELEASE

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 4 over at Newtons Nook Designs, it's their Holiday Release! The NEWLY released products will be available on Friday, October 18th. The design team will be featuring the Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set with the Coordinating Die Set. For more inspiration, be sure to head over to the Newtons Nook Designs blog. What's a new release without a prize, see details below on how you can win $25 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs store.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

D Idlet, Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set, holiday release, Christmas Tree, Newton's Nook Designs

My card is an A2 Split Front Fun Fold card. To create the card I started with a standard card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Start with an 11″ x 4 1/4″ (1/2 of an 8 1/2 x 11) card base score at 5 1/2″, put your card base on your paper cutter at the score line and cut at 1 1/2″, then cut a 1 1/2″ strip from the piece you cut off. The 1 1/2″ strip is going to be at the bottom of the card front. The layering paper front is from the newly released 6x6 Christmas Basics Paper Pad. The inside NND paper is from the 6x6 Christmas Time Paper Pad.  I cut the design paper about 1/8 inch smaller.  There are lots of video tutorials on youtube if you cannot follow these instructions, just search for Split Front Fun Fold card.

The front layer is approximately cut 3 1/2 x 4.  The image is from the NEWLY released Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set with the Coordinating Die Set.  I stamped, colored and die cut the image.  I added some glossy accent onto the oranments, and some glitter onto the hats.  I used pop dots to add it to the front of the card.  To finish the card off, I added the sentiment from the Newton’s Christmas Tree Stamp Set.
