Today I’m showcasing two stamps sets Fabulous Frenchies  and Toucan Party Stamp Sets.  I love these sets and hate to see them go.  You can go here to see the full list.

For my first card, I used the Fabulous Frenchies  Stamp Set, I stamped, die cut and colored the images with alcohol markers.  I used the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set for the frame and the background paper came from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad.  I used the Speech Bubbles Die Set to stamp the sentiment from the Fabulous Frenchies.

I assembled the card and finished it off by adding some details on the eyes and party hats with white gelly roll pen  and added some clear wink of stella onto the balloon.

For my second card I am using the Toucan Party Stamp Set.  I created a slimline card using the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set.  I stamped, die cut and colored the images with alcohol inks.  I dry embossed the blue layer with the Waves Stencil and the green layer I stamped the palm leaves for the background.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and then added the toucans to the card.

I assembled the card and finished it off by adding some details on the toucans with white gelly roll pen.

I’m here with Newton's Nook Designs Team and we are hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats, which is just in time for Valentines day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!

I created these cute toppers using the Newton’s Nook Framework Die set. I used the stitched scalloped die in the set and scored it on the horizontal side. The cute images are from the newly released stamp set “Love Bots”. The design paper is also from the new release called “Love & Meows” 6x6 pad. I colored the images with copics.

Newton's Nook Design - Valentine Treat Bags Love & Bots Valentine Cards

Here is how I created my Valentine Treat Bags:
  • Die cut the scallop edge die with Newton’s Nook Framework Die set using two pink card stock and a piece of red card stock.
  • Scored each piece at 2 ½ inches. The topper measures 4 ½ x 1 3/8 (folded).
  • Cut the design paper from the “Love Meows” paper pad at 1 ½ x 4 ¼ and added it to the scalloped topper.
  • Added the 3 pieces of candy into the plastic zip lock bags, they measure 4 x 4 ¾ .
  • Added some score tape on each side of the bag and adhered the toppers to each bag.
  • Stamped and embossed the sentiments on black card stock with white embossing powder.
  • Colored the images from the “Love Bots” stamp set and die cut them. For finishing touches I added some clear wink of stella to some of the images, glossy accents to hearts and the dog, and Black Nuvo drops to the eyes.
  • Stamped and heat embossed the sentiments, using the sentiment strips from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set.
  • After everything dried, added the images and sentiments to the toppers.
