NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - JUNE 2024 NEW RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 4

 

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of reveals over at Newtons Nook Designs, the NEWLY released products will be available tomorrow, Friday, June 21st. The design team will be featuring the Farmer Newton Stamp Set and the coordinating die set. Here is my card for your inspiration:

I have created a double easel card using the Farmer Newton Stamp Set and the coordinating die set. This easel is an A2 size and will fit in an A2 envelope.  This stamp set goes perfect with the Tractor and Barn die sets that was revealed yesterday.  This card is quick and easy to create.

The measurement of the easel card:

Card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"

Black layer is: 4" x 10 1/4", scored at 2 1/2" and at 5"

Farmyard Paper Pad - 3 3/4" x 5", 2 1/4" x 3 3/4", 1" x 3 3/4"

I die cut the tractor and barn, assembled and added it to the card.  I stamped, die cut and colored the images from the Farmer Newton Stamp Set and added them to the card.  I love how this card came out; I hope you will try and recreate it.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, I die cut the Barn and assembled it with glue. I used the Basic Frames Die Set for the back ground layers using the Farmyard Paper Pad. I added the barn with foam squares and stamped the sentiment using the NND Dads BBQ Stamp set, and die cut it using the Banner Duo Die Set.

My card is an A2 card, I die cut the tractor and assembled it with glue. I used the Frames & Tags Die Set for the frame of the card. I die cut some papers from the Farmyard Paper Pad for inside the frames. I die cut the largest stitched die from the Hexagon Frames Die Set with vellum and added it to the card. I added the tractor with foam squares and stamped the sentiment using the NND Cycling Friends Stamp set, which was die cut using the Banner Duo Die Set.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

I'm in love with this stamp set, I love how Newton is in his beekeeper outfit. My card is an A2 card. I die cut the stripe yellow layer using the Frames & Flags Die Set.  I added it to the card base. I stamped the images from the Beekeeper Newton Stamp Set, colored them with alcohol markers and used the coordinating die to cut them out. I then die cut the hexagon shapes from the Hexagon Frames Die Set. I hot foiled the white layer with Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate. I assembled the layers and added eveything to the card base.  To finish off the card, I added the sentiment at the bottom of the card.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG - TIC TAC TOE

 Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. My tic tac toe is Ink Blend, Summer and Rub On. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration.

I've created an A2 size card.  I created the layers for my card.  The top white panel, I ink blended with purple ink colors.  I then embossed the panel using Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder Beautiful Butterflies.  I added the butterfly from Spellbinders sticker butterflies called Moonlight Butterflies.  Ok, you might says it's not a rub on, but it is a sticker.  The sentiment is from Newton's Nook Designs Monarchs stamp set that was released May 2022.

The design team will be featuring the Hexagon Frames Die Set, Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate & Dies, and the Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set . Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My frst card is an A2 card. I started with cutting a card panel and used the Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate and embossed the background and added it to a black panel. I then stamped and heat embossed with white embosing powder and ink blended the heart shaped honeycomb from the "Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set". I then die cut it using the Heart Frames Die Set. I stamped and die cut the bees from the Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set, colored them and added some glitter to the wings. I finished the card off by adding the sentiment and die cutting it using the Frames & Flags Die Set. 

My second card is an A2 card.   The yellow layer is die cut from the Framework Die Set and the stitched white layer is die cut from the Basic Frames Die Set.  I adhered these layers and added it to the black card base.  I then hot foiled the honeycomb using the Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate and die cut the hexagons with the Hexagon Frames Die Set.  The center hexagon I used the largest stitched die and the smaller hexagons I used the smallest stitched die.  I assembled them onto the card, the smaller hexagons are popped up using foam squares.  I hot foiled the bees using black foil from the Honeycomb Hot Foil set.  I die cut these and added them to the card.  I finished the card off by adding the sentiment from the Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Sketch Challenge

I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Gina K. Designs.  I've used two different sets, the snetiment is from "Hole in One" and the bow tie is from "Grand Gentlemen" both sets were  released in May 2022.   The design paper is from my stash.
