Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Anything Goes Challenge

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created a mini slimline card. The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs called "Beautiful Butterflies" that was released in August 2020. The floral background is a stencil created by The Ton called Lush Peonies Layering Stencils released in January 2022.

KAT SCRAPPINESS - MAY 2023 ESSENTIALS RELEASE

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and the Creative Crew is showcasing products from the 2023 Essentials Release! I have two cards I created using a variety of NEWLY Released products from Kat Scrappiness. Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness Blog for lots of inspiration. My first card I am featuring is from the NEWLY released Nesting Stitched Diamonds and Sending You Crafty Hugs w/Shadow. The card is an A2 card measuaring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I love the Nesting Stitched Diamonds. I created a sort of geometric card using rainbow colors. I die cut the Crafty Hugs die with black cardstock and the showdow with vellum. I added glossy accents to give the card some shine. To finish the card off I added a mixture of KS Pearl Mixes.

My second card could easily be a masculine card.  I love the black and white strips that I die cut using the NEWLY released A2 Stitched Strips.  The word die is new to KS called Get Well Die,  I die cut the words in white cardstock and the background with black and vellum, so that the words would pop off the card.  I finished the card off by adding some KS Onyx Black Pearl Mix.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - MAY 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 4

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of Reveals featuring the NEW products over at Newtons Nook Designs.  I hope you have been inspired by all the reveals this week.  If you missed all the reveals you can head over to the NND blog to see what the design team created.  The NEWLY released products will be available tomorrow Friday, May 19th. 

Today the design team is featuring a a cute stamp set "Newton’s Hanging Basket”  and the Coordinating Dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

My card is an A2 size card, which I have created a gatefold card. I stenciled the front of the card using the NEWLY released Trailing Leaves Stencil. The front of the card, I die cut the stitched square from the Frames Square Die Set. I then stamped, colored with alcohol markers and die cut the image from the NEWLY released "Newton’s Hanging Basket”. I attached the left side of the square onto the card, added the image and stamped the sentiment from the "Newton’s Hanging Basket” stamp set. To finish off the card, I added some embellishments.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - MAY 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 3

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 3 over at Newtons Nook Designs, the NEWLY released products will be available on Friday, May 19th. The design team is featuring a Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. This set goes perfectly with the NND Bookmark Die Set. There is also s NEW stencil called Birdhouse Line Stencil. Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I have create a neighborhood of birdhouses. I created the background using NND Clouds Stencil. I created the grass using the NND
Land Borders Dies and added the fence from the NND Fence Die Set. I then stamped and colored the birdhouse images from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set with alcohol markers and die cut them. I added the butterflies and some more birds from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.

My second card I am using the NEWLY released Birdhouse Line Stencil.  I love this stencil, it's the perfect stencil to make a mini slimline card. I have used rainbow colors to create my card. I added clouds in the background using the Clouds Stencil and added some grass using the Hills and Grass Stencil.  The sentiment on the card came from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.

I added a white piece of cardstock in the inside of the Kraft card base and added the sentiment from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.  I added a few birdhouses on the inside using the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - MAY 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 2

The design team is featuring a 6x8 stamp set called Succulent Garden with Coordinating Die and a Trailing Leaves Stencil. Here are my cards for your inspiration

My card is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card. The Frames Square Die Set is perfect for making square cards. I cut a square to fite in the center of the stitched scalloped frame and stamped the image from the Succulent Garden stamp set. I colored with alcohol markers. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Succulent Garden Stamp Set and die cut it using the Frames and Flags Die Set.

My secon card I am used Kraft cardstock and ink blended the background using the Trailing Leaves Stencil. I first ink blended the background with white pigment ink and the added two different colors of green ink. The sentiment is from NND Mom and Dad Stamp Set and die cut it using the Banner Trio Dies.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - MAY 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 1

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 1 over at Newtons Nook Designs, the NEWLY released products will be available on Friday, May 19th. I am so excited NND is debuting for the first time Hot Foiling Products. The design team will be featuring Fireflies Hot Foil Plates and Dies, Jar Hot Foil Plate & Die, Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates along with Banner Duo Die Set that is perfect for die cutting the Hot Foil Bright Sentiments.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, the back ground paper is from the  Birthday Party Paper Pad. The oval frame is from the Oval Frames Die Set. I foiled the Jar Hot Foil Plate using rainbow foil. I then die cut the jar with the coordinating frame. I foiled and die cut the Fireflies Hot Foil Plates with gold and silver foil. I then foiled the Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates with rainbow foil and used the negative and die cut it with the Banner Duo Die Set.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Tic Tac Toe

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created a masculine birthday card, this can easily be created for a female.  The stamp is from Avery Elle called "Big Greetings" that was released in June 2016. The stencil is from Lawn Fawn called Lots of Stars Background and the pattern paper is from Stampin Up called Everyday Chic.

Inside of card, I created a slot to add a gift card or money.

Newton's Nook Designs - Cinco de Mayo!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs sharing a cute card celebrating Cinco de Mayo coming this Friday! Who will be celebrating with taco's and margaritas?  These cute kitties are from the Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set.

 

Here is how I created my card:

• Card is an A2 card which measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
• Cut the posted layer with NND Framework Die Set. 
•  Created the background using NND Confetti Stencil, using rainbow colors.   
• Stamped the images from Newton Loves Tacos stamp sets and colored with alcohol markers.
• Stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Newton Loves Tacos stamp set with white embossing powder, die cut the sentiment using the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set.
• Die cut the vellum in the background from the Oval Frames Die Set.
• Assembled the card.

Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Birds and Magnolias" stamp set illustrated by Hanna Drapinski. These birds in this set are beautiful.  Love the handwritten sentiments!

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My first card, I have created a fun fold card called "Diagonal Joy Fold".  You can go on youtube and type in "How to make Diagonal Joy Fun Fold Cards" and there are lots of tutorials.  The design paper is GKD 6X6 Autumn Splendor paper pad.  I stamped and die cut the bird with the coordinating dies from the "Birds and Magnolias" stamp set and colored it with alcohol markers.  Stamped the sentiment from the "Birds and Magnolias" stamp set with black onyx ink. For finishing touches I added some Mico Disco Ball Sequins to the card.  The card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and will fit perfect in an A2 envelope.

Here is the card open, I love the pattern paper.

My second is an A2 size card, I created the background using GKD Brick Wall stencil using soft stone ink.  I used Master Layouts 1 to die cut the layers.  I die cut the window from Master Layouts 5.  I created some clouds that is outside the window using glass ink.  I stamped and die cut the image from the "Birds and Magnolias" stamp set with the coordinating dies.  Stamped the sentiment from the "Birds and Magnolias" stamp set with black onyx ink and used clear embossing powder to heat set it.  I die cut the sentiment from GKD Sentiment Strips.  For finishing touches, I added some clear wink of stella onto the flowers and added pink pearls from the GKD Pearl Mix - Rainbow.
