Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #199 - Tickled Pink!

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created a Valentine themed card using Sweet n' Sassy Stamps "Lot's of Love" that was released in January 2020. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Kat Scrappiness - Congratulations on Your New Nest

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness sharing a card featuring the NEWLY released Birdy Birdhouse Dies along with the coordinating sentiment set called Sweet Tweets Stamp Set. There are several sentiments in the Sweet Tweets set for many occasions.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an slim line card measuring 3 1/2 x 8.  I used the Slimline Diamond Wire & Wood Grain Frame Die for the background of the card.  I die cut the Birdy Birdhouse dies using KS Lumber Yard 6x6 Paper Pad. I die cut the birds from paper in my stash and added the grass at the bottom of the card die cutting it from the Pop Up box grass add on dies.  Finished the card off by heat embossing the sentiment from the Sweet Tweets Stamp Set.

KAT SCRAPPINESS - 2023 BE MY VALENTINE RELEASE 2!



Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and the Creative Crew is showcasing products from the 2023 Release 2 Be My Valentine Release! I have two cards I created using a variety of NEWLY Released products from Kat Scrappiness. Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness Blog for lots of inspiration. All the products I used on my cards are listed below. You can find the whole release here.

My first card I am featuring the NEWLY Sweet Berry Stamp Set w/coordinating dies, the background hearts is from the Bokeh Hearts Layered Stencil and the hearts are from the
Be My Valentine Sprinkle Mix.


My card is an A2 card, the background was ink blended using the Bokeh Hearts Layered Stencil. I added it to the card. I stamped and colored the strawberries with Copics from the Sweet Berry Stamp Set. I die cut them with the coordinating dies. I then die cut the chocolate part of the strawberries using brown card stock from the Sweet Berry stamp set. I added glossy accents to give them a shine, I let it dry and added it to the colored strawberries. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Berry stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating die. I assembled the card and for finishing touches, I added the frame around the card using the A2 Frame Dies and added the hearts from the Be My Valentine Sprinkle Mix.


My second card is created features the NEWLY released Valentine Postcard stamp Set. I stamped the balloon image and colored with copic markers. I then added the sentiment using onto the A2 Postcard Die. Stamped the word "post card" onto the card, added some of the other elements from the stamp set. Finishing touches I added some Mother of Pearl Solid Round Confetti Sequins to finish off the post card.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 4

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of the January Reveals with Newton's Nook Designs! All the products I have featured this week will be available tomorrow,  Friday, January 20th. Today the design team is featuring “Never Enough Cats” Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:
  • A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
  • Cut the background using the Framework Die with from the "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pad.
  • Stamped and die cut the image from the "Never Enough Cats" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
  • Stamped the sentiment from the "Never Enough Cats" stamp set, die cut the sentiment using the  Frames Squared Die set (used the circle and cut in 1/2)

  • To finish off the card, I stamped the hearts on Kraft paper and die cut them, then stamped and die cut the bubble and added it to the card.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 3

Hello everyone!

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:
  • Created a Tri-Fold Accordion card that when folded it still measures an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).
  • Cut the background papers with the Frames Squared Die using the "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pad.
  • Stamped and die cut the image from the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
  • Stamped the sentiment using the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set, die cut it using the Speech Bubbles Die.

  • Stamped the sentiment on the inside of the Tri-Fold Accordion card and added the heart and bubble from the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set.

I loved how this card turned out, I will definately make a Tri-Fold Accordian card again.  This card is very simple to make, if you are interested in making one like this, you can search YouTube for Tri-Fold Accordina card and find the measurements.  You basically are using a 4 1/4 x 11 inch paper (1/2 of an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper) and score at 2 1/2", 3 3/4", 6 3/4", 8 1/4".

GINA K. DESIGNS - JANUARY 2023 RELEASE

The Gina K. Designs January 2023 Release is NOW available and can be found HERE.


Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Bitty Backgrounds" stamp set illustrated by Debrah Warner. This is a 6x8 set with four fun backgrounds that can be used for many occasions.  These backgrounds are perfect to pair with any dies or stamp sets.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:


My first card I used the heart background stamp.  I stamped the background with GKD Red Velvet ink.  I then added some clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.  I then used the heart from the Master Layouts 4 and cut out the background.  I then used Master Layouts 4 again to cut the scalloped layer.  I cut the center using Red Velvet paper and dry embossed it with GKD Petite Flourish.  The "Love Caps" is GKD designs stand alone word die, I added clear wink of stella and added glossy accents.  The sentiment if from the "Bitty Background" stamp set.  I heat embossed with word with white embossing powder and die cut it using a banner die from Master Layouts 4.  


My second card is also from the "Bitty Background" stamp set.  I die cut the layers from Master Layouts 2.  I then masked the sides off with GKD Masking Magic Sheets and then stamped the image using GKD Dark Chocolate Ink.  I inked blended the background.  The "Friend Caps" is another GKD stand alone word dies.  The sentiment is from the "Bitty Background" stamp set.  I finished off the card by adding GKD sequins Sugar Plum.

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:
  • A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
  • Cut the background papers using the "Love & Woofs" and "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pads.
  • Stamped and die cut the image from the "Newton's Heart " stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
  • Stamped the image again and fuzzy cut the feet and paws to paper piece.
  • Die cut the scalloped stitched circle from the Circle Frame dies and adhered the image to the front of the card.
  • Stamped the sentiment using and die cut it using the Frames & Flags Die.

  • Assembled the card adding the hearts from the  "Newton's Heart" stamp set.

  • Paper pieced the feet and hands added foam squares to pop up them up, added glossy accents to the heart for finishing touches.
Another adorable stamp set!  I love how Newton is holding the heart.

Here is how I created the card:
  • A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
  • Cut the background papers using the "Love & Woofs" Paper Pad.
  • Stamped and die cut the image from the "Puppy Heart" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
  • Die cut the scalloped stitched circle from the Circle Frame dies, added the sentiment, adhered it to the front of the card.

Kat Scrappiness - I Love You!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness sharing a card featuring the NEW A2 Intertwined Stitched Hearts. With Valentine coming up soon, this card would be perfect to send a love one.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

A2 Intertwined Stitched Hearts Kat Scrappiness Quokka Valentine Card

My card is an A2 card and I used the A2 Intertwined Stitched Hearts that I die cut from the KS Spectrum of Love Slimline Paper Pad. I created a shaker with Intertwined Stitched Hearts using KS Heart Sprinkles and 3mm Transparent Neon Pink Hearts. The background paper I used is from the Heartfelt Wishes Slimline Paper Pad. I added the Intertwined shaker element onto the card. The Quokka is from the Dress Up Quokka Stamp Set and the sentiment is from the Valentine Quokka.

Kat Scrappiness - 2022 Be My Valentine Release!

 


Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and the Creative Crew is showcasing products from the 2022 Be My Valentine Release! I have two cards I created using a variety of NEWLY Released products from Kat Scrappiness. Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness Blog for lots of inspiration. My first card I am featuring the Sunray Backdrop Die and the Say Yes! Die Set.


My card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I die cut the Sunray Backdrop Die with two different papers from my stash. I paper pieced the mirrored paper into the Sunray die. I then die cut the Say Yes Die set with different papers from my stash. I assembled it and added it to the Sunray Backdrop Die. I die cut the word die from the Congrats Word Dies w/Shadow.

My second card features the NEWLY released Layered Heart Doily Dies.


I die cut the shaped card using the Stitched Nesting Dome Dies. I then die cut the second to the largest Stitched Nesting Dome Dies for the heart layer which was die cut from the KS Spectrum of Love Slimline Paper Pad. I then die cut the NEWLY released Sweetheart Doily Dies and adhered it to my card. I finished the card off by adding the Love You Word w/Shadow Dies and the Smooches Coverplate Die (lips).

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG (MLCCB) - Happy Holidays

 


Hello everyone!

I'm here with a new challenge with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog. I hope you will come play along with the Christmas Challenge. It will run for six weeks, ending at 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the 15th of next month, so get out your crafty Christmas stash and come play with us!

Here is my card for your inspiration:


I am using Gina K. Designs Snow Carole’s Stamp Set with the coordinating dies..  I used Master Layouts 1 to cut the layers.  I inked blended the top later and added white splatters to look like snow.  Added the snow carolers to the card and stamped the sentiment.
