Hello everyone!
I hope you are enjoying the November Monthly Mix Challenge, which is“Let It Snow”. For this challenge you are to create a themed project with snowfall, snowflakes and or a snowman. If you want to join in on the fun, click here.
My card is a clean and simple card, it is an A2 card, the top layer measures 4 1/8 x 5 7/8. I masked off the middle section with purple tape, and inked the middle with GKD ink. I then stamped the trees from the You Warm My Heart stamp set , and the sentiment is from the Christmas Script stamp set. I used some white distress ink to make the snow in the background.
Here is my first card I created for the challenge. I used the GKD Warm Wishes Card Kit - Winter Hugs Stamp Set and dies. I created my card by I embossed the background using the Tall Birch background stamp, I used the emboss resist technique. I hand cut the snow layer and added it to my card. I used some wink of stella to give it some shine. I stamped, die cut and colored with Copics the snowman from the GKD Warm Wishes Card Kit - Winter Hugs Stamp Set and die and used GKD Foam Squares to pop the snowman onto my card. I used the GKD White Glitz Glitter Gel in the background for the snow. The sentiment is from the Winter Hugs stamp set. The measurements can be found on the GKD Challenge blog.
I hope you enjoyed my cards and has inspired you to join the challenge. There will be THREE winners chosen for a $25 gift certificate. Be sure to load your entry into the challenge. You have until November 30th to enter and the winners will be announced on December 1st.
