Double Dip

The following cards are from the Double Dip collection:

I used the sketch for my inspiration.  The technique I used on this card is mirrored stamping.  I have been doing a lot of this lately.  I colored the chameleon with copics, and added them to my card.  To finish this card off I added some glossy accents to the hearts and the chameleon eyes for dimension and added the sequins that is in this collection.

My next card is Meerkat by Newton's Nook, isn't he the cutest!  I stamped the Meerkat twice, colored with copics and added it to the circle I die cut.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a flag die.  I used the paper and the doily from the collection.

My next card, I used the sketch from the kit.  I did mirror stamping again, I die cut a rectangle die, and inked the background, I colored the sloth with copics, and adhered them to panel with foam squares, I stamped the image and die cut it and added to the card.  The paper is this collection is so much fun, I couldn't decide on which papers to use, but thought my choices went well together.

My next card, I used the sketch you will get in the kit.  I stamped the parrot from the Bird Talk stamp set by Scrapping for Less, the paper I used on my card is from the collection, oh my, the paper in this collection is beautiful!  I love everyone of the sheets.  I cut a panel 5 1/2 x 2 1/2, wrapped the twine around the panel and adhered it to my card, I die cut two stitched circles, one with the gold glitter paper from the kit and then inked the background of the other circle, I adhered them together and used foam squares to add it to my card, I colored the parrot with copics, adhered the branch to my circle and used foam squares to add the parrot.  To finish the card off I used Nuvo Ebony black drops on his eye and added glossy accent to the beak.  I love this card!!!

Banana Split

My last card,  I created a background with distressed inks, I stamped the parrot from the Bird Talk stamp set by Scrapping for Less, I colored it with copics, added some Nuvo Ebony black drops on his eye and added glossy accent to the beak.  I had some of the background paper leftover, I die cut the "go wild" word from the Banana Split and then die cut it again with black cardstock and offset the word, I stamped the leaves around the card from the banana split stamp set called Exotic Sentiment Stamp by Scrapping for Less.  I adhered the words to the card, used foam squares to add the parrot and finished the card off by adding sequins from the collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope I have inspired you and you will stop over to Scrapping for Less and grab this kit, it is so much fun!

Joy Clair Stamps August 2019 New Release Blog Hop and 5th Anniversary Celebration!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps and we are celebrating their 5th Anniversary and NEW release.  You should be coming from Josefine Fouarge blog and your next stop will be the talented Tenia Nelson. There are lots of inspiration for the new release over on Joy Clair's blog, be sure to stop over there.  To celebrate Joy Clair's 5th Anniversary there will be a chance to win one of TWO $25.00 gift cards to spend at the Joy Clair online store.  All you have to do is comment on each blog that is listed below.  If you get lost, click here to the Joy Clair's blog to get the complete list for the blog hop.

My first card, I am using the NEWLY released "Shadow of the Mighty", which is part of the Color by Faith line of stamps.  If you love to bible journal this set would look beautiful on a bible page.  I love how this set is perfect for those who love to make cards.  The technique I used for the chair is mirror stamping, below is how I mirrored the beach chair.  The background I created using distress inks, the sun I used a sunburst stencil using distressed inks.

Closer look at my card.

To create the mirrored beach chairs, I began using a media mat with the Misti.  I layed the beach chair on the media mat.  To get a clear image I used Onyx Black Versafine ink, I stamped it twice.

I then laid a piece of white cardstock on the media mat, pressed softly to get a clear image.

The image  on the right is the mirrored image and I stamped the image again on the left.  I then used my scan and cut to cut the beach chairs and the umbrella. I colored them using the Leisure Arts double ended water-based markers.  I like these markers because they have brilliant colors.  I have the pack on 60.

Here is how I added the sun to my card base.

This is how I created the sand and water to the card base.

My last card I am using the Everyday Stamp set "Wish Big".  I die cut my top panel with a stitched die cut.  Before I took the panel out of the die, I used distress ink to create the background.  I then stamped the floral image and colored the flowers and butterfly with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.  I then added the sentiment and finished the card off by adding some sequins.

Here is a closer look of the card.

Joy Clair and Thermoweb Collaboration!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Joy Clair Stamps and Thermoweb's collaboration!  Therm-o-web foils and other products are so versatile, I love the many creations you can create.  The design team has some wonderful creations so be sure to hop over to the Joy Clair Stamps Blog to get plenty of inspiration.  I am using the following stamp sets in my creations for you today.

Here is my first card:

I am using the Joy Clair Stamps Proverbs 31 which is part of the Color by Faith line of stamps and the Friends and Flowers.  From Therm-o-web I am using the Deco Foil Shattered Glass on my card.

Here is how I put this card together:

1.  My card is an A2 card,

2.  I cut a panel at 4 x 51/2 and added double stick tape to the panel, using the grid paper as my guide.  I used the distress inks and added it to my panel.

3.  I removed the covering from the double stick tape,

4.  I cut the deco foil "Rainbow Shattered Glass" to the panel,

5.  I varnished the deco foil onto my panel and removed the foil.  I love this technique.  I love the background panel and the distress inks match the foil perfect.

6.  I stamped the floral image twice from the Proverbs 31 stamp set.  I colored them with Tri-blend Spectrum Noir pens, cut them out using my scan and cut.  The sentiment is from the Friends and Flowers stamp set.

My next project I am using the Joy Clair Stamp set Friends and Flowers.  I colored the image with copics.  I cut it out using my scan and cut.  The background is by Therm-o-web using the Brutus Monroe Designer Toner Sheets-Double Dots.  I used my minc to transfer the Brutus Monroe foiled transfer sheet Green Sketch.

My last project, I am using the Joy Clair Stamp set Heir of God, which is part of the Color by Faith line of stamps.  I stamp the image and colored it with copics, the sentiment is from the Many Blessings stamp set.  I used the deco foil transfer gel with a stencil.  I cut my panel at 3 7/8 x 5, I used the Therm-o-web Pixie Spray to adhere the stencil on my panel.  I added the deco foil transfer gel with a pallet knife.  I let the gel dry and then added deco foil "Rainbow Shattered Glass" using my minc.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have been inspired.  Please stop over to Joy Clair's blog and see all the wonderful designs from the design team.

Closer look at my project

Here is how I put my project together:

I started out with this small oval box, I cut all the elements I needed to cover the oval box.

I glued all the elements the box with liquid glue.

Here is how the box looked covered.

The doily on top of the box I die cut it with Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, I added the multipurpose adhesive to the back of the Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper so it would adhere it to my box easy.

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Anything Goes"!  I love challenges with anything goes, because you can create anything you would like!

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my card, I have had this Memory Box butterfly die called "Fairyland Butterflies" in my stash for a lot of years and decided to pull it out.  I took some watercolor paper and inked it up with distress inks.  I then die cut the butterflies out.  I took a white panel measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and die cut the butterflies out again.  I adhered it to the base of my card and then added the butterflies, I added the sentiment from the Altenew stamp set called "Many Thanks" which was released in January of 2018.  I finished my card off by adding some sequins to coordinate with the colors of the butterflies.
