Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Tic Tac Toe Challenge #97

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a fun tic tac toe created by design team member Jan Clothier! I hope you have been enjoying her tic tac toe games, because I have!

The stamp set I used is from My Favorite Things "Written in Watercolor" which was release in June 2, 2015.  If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

My tic tac toe card is neutrals, birthday and circles.  My card is an A2 card, I used creamed color cardstock for the layer, the balloons are round and the card is a birthday card.  I cut my layer 4 x 5 1/4, I then used a balloon stencil, using  distressed inks I blended the colors on the balloons, I kept the stencil on the layer and added some versamark ink, clear embossing powder and heat set it to give the balloon some dimension.  I added the sentiment from the My Favorite Thing stamp set "Written in Watercolor".  I completed my card by adding some sequins.

Closer look at the distressed balloons that I added versamark.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until October 19th to join the fun!
