Make Your Holiday Shine with Foil-Mates™

Hello everyone,

The Cast and Crew for Gina K. Designs are showcasing the beautiful Holiday Foil-Mates™ . All of the new Holiday Foil-Mates™ are available in the Gina K. Designs store. We hope to inspire you with some beautiful cards and gift projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

My first card is an A2 gate fold card. I used the snowflake pattern from the Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™Backgrounds - Blizzard pack. I foiled the snowflakes with the Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils™ 6" x 8" - Sparkling Silver. The sentiment is from the Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ Sentiments - Joyful Holiday and die cut with the Gina K. Designs Double Stitched Squares Dies and Gina K. Designs Single Stitched Squares Dies and foiled with Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils™ 6" x 8" - Radiant Red.
I have some baked cookies that I have added one of the tags from the Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ Sentiments • Tag Tidings.  These tags are perfect for any gifts that you want to give.  The added foil makes the tags look so classy.  They are quick and easy to put together, using the Gina K. Designs Decorative Tag Dies set.  As you can see I couldn't just make one!

I created a box of Christmas cards to give as a gift.  The box has 4 cards and 4 envelopes.  The clear box is sold in the Gina K Store, here.  There are 10 boxes in the set.

The gift tag on the clear box is from Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ Sentiments • Tag Tidings, I used the Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils™ 6" x 8" • Radiant Red to foil my tag.  I die cut the tag from the Gina K. Designs Decorative Tag DiesThe white ribbon is very nice, I used the Gina K video to make the ribbon.  If you have trouble making bows like I do, stop over to Gina's YouTube Channel or StampTV and watch the video, there are several tips on how to make bows.  The following cards are in the gift box.

I did not get time to work with those items yet, but the inspiration I am getting is certainly make me want to do so. Wish I did not have to clean and run to doctor appointments this week. Foiling would be a lot more fun!

  66. The cards are beautiful and I recently bought stuff to make these type cards. My question is, did you fussy cut the black around the labels because my dies don't have a nested die to cut the label and the black backing? Just wondering. It is on all the cards. Not sure I can fussy cut that well. Love the cards.
