Happy International Coffee Day!

Hello everyone,

I am popping in to wish everyone a "Happy International Coffee Day" for all you coffee lovers out there.  I am sharing a cute card that was inspired by this card here.

I used the Impression Obsession stamp sets Cup of Sweet Succulents, the sentiment is from Pumpkin Cup and the cute little kitten is a single stamp called Pumpkin Kitty.  I called  the cup and the kitty with copics.  I used YR12, 14, 18 for the cup and the pumpkin, I colored the kitten with C3, 5, and 7.
The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Pumpkin Harvest.

Thank you for stopping by!

Retro Rubber Challenge #72 - Travel On!

Hello everyone,

I am here with Retro Rubber and we have another exciting challenge for you, which is "Travel On", you need to use anything that is related to a mode of transportation.  Doesn't that sound like fun!!  To play along with the Retro Rubber Challenges you must use a stamp set that is at least a year old and tell us how old your stamp set is.

Image may contain: text

Here is my take on the challenge.  The stamp set I am using was made by Kaisercraft called Just Landed which was released in June 2016.

Here is how I put my card together:

1.  A2 card - cut the white paper 4 7/8 x 3 1/2 and the black piece is 3 7/8 x 5,
2.  I stamped the buildings and the plane using my Misti on the paper with onyx black versafine ink, I then stamped the image again with versamark and heat embossed the image,
3.  Using a blending tool I added clouds using a MFT small cloud stencil using Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink,
4.  I stamped the sentiment on a separate paper with onyx black versafine ink and stamped the image again with versamark and heat embossed.  I used some Tim Holtz mustard seed distress ink, and  popped this up on the card using dimensionals.

Thanks again for stopping by, please don't forget to stop over at the Retro Rubber Challenge blog and join the fun and check out the beautiful projects the design team members have created. You have until October 6th to join in on the fun!

Thankful - 2017 Fall COFFEE LOVER'S BLOG HOP

Hello everyone!

I'm here again sharing another coffee card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop .  Oh my, I love this stamp by Unity Stamps which is called "Fall to Go"!  When I saw it, I just had to have it.  I colored the image with copics, die cut it out with a rectangle die.  The sentiment that came with the stamp set says "Thankful, Grateful, Blessed", but I only used the Thankful sentiment.  If you have not had a chance to play along with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, you really should.  It is so much fun and there are some very creative cards.

Thank you for stopping by and please come back again soon!

Joy Clair and Rinea

I am here with Joy Clair and back with Rinea foils.   If you missed my earlier post this month, we are featuring Rinea foils the whole month!  If you have not seen all the beautiful colors or know about Rinea foils, check out their bog to see the  beautiful creations you can do with their foils.  I am featuring one of the most recent new background stamps called Ugly Sweater Background Builder by Joy Clair.   I think this card I created today is adorable!  I cut the hat image from a free SVG or PDF file here

Are you ready for the Christmas holiday?  Have you started on making your Holiday cards?  Hop over to the Joy Clair blog and there is plenty of inspiration for you to get started.

Here is how I created my card:

1.  I cut the hat shape from a free SVG file from card stock by Claire Brennan which can be found here,
2.  I then used the Rinea violet foil and cut the rim and the ball of the hat from the free SVG file,
3.  I then used Versamark and stamped the different stamps from the Joy Clair Ugly Sweater Background Builder stamp set,
4.  I then used white embossing powder and heat set it on the hat,
5.  The rim, I embossed the Rinea violet foil with an embossing folder, I added this to the bottom of the hat and added the circle to the top of the hat with adhesive,
6.  I finished off the card by adding the "Merry Christmas" from one of the stamp sets from the Ugly Sweater Background Builder.

I really enjoyed making this card, I hope I have given you some inspiration to start your Holiday cards.

If you have not had a chance to join the "anything goes" challenge, please take a minute and join.  Joy Clair will be giving away one $25 gift card to the Joy Clair Store, randomly selected to give everyone a chance to win.

You Had Me at Coffee!

Hello everyone!

I am back with another coffee card for the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  I love making coffee cards, they are so much fun and a coffee cup looks so nice on a card.  Not to mention, I love drinking a nice cup of coffee in the mornings.

I am using the newest release sets by Joy Clair, who is a Super Sponsor for the Coffee Hop, called Christmas Coffee and the sentiment is from Coffee Quotes.  Both of these sets are so versatile!  The Christmas set has images for Christmas or you can just use it for everyday!  Not to mention the Coffee Quotes, you can use these sentiments alone or add them to a coffee cup as I did.  I used my scan and cut to cut the coffee cup out, and colored it with copics.  I added the sentiment to the embossed part of my card with foam tape.  Very simple and clean card!  Oh I forgot to mention, if you love these sets that I am showing you today, they are both on sale!  All coffee related stamps on Joy Clair are on sale until Friday.  So hop on over to the store and  get the stamps you love!

If you love the Joy Clair stamps you can follow them on  facebook page, Color by Faith Bible Journaling facebook page, Instagram and Twitter, be the first to hear the news, sales and giveaways! They also have a Pinterest page and Youtube channel for your inspiration!

To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

These sets illustrated by Beth and Claire were so much fun to play with.  My first card is an A2 card, I cut a piece of GKD White Layering cardstock, and sprayed it with Firework sprays to created the background.  I then die cut the wavy panel and adhered it to my card.  I stamped the turtles with Memento Black ink and fuzzy cut the turtles from the Todd Turtle illustrated by Beth.  I colored them with copics and added some glossy accents to the shell of the turtle.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and added GKD Fine Detail White embossing powder and heat set it.  I added foam tape and added it to my card.  I added foam tape to the turtles and popped them on the card.  I finished off my card by adding some dew drops.

Here is a closer look.....

My next card is also from the Todd Turtle Stamp Set.  The card is an A2 card, I die cut a white panel with GKD Pure Luxury White Layering card stock and water colored some GKD Ocean Mist ink for my background.  I stamped the starfish, fuzzy cut them out, and colored them with copics.   I added some glossy accent to the spots on the starfish for more dimension.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and added GKD Fine Detail White embossing powder and heat set it.  I added this to my card.  I finished the card off by adding some clear enamel dots.

Here is a closer look.....

My next card is Perfect Poinsettia illustrated by Claire Brennan.  This is an amazing set, there are so many possibilities!  This card is an A2 card too, I cut the white panel out with a Spellbinder die to get the fancy bottom.  I used GKD Pure Luxury heavy white card stock and stamped the poinsettia image twice with gold embossing powder.  I used GKD Red Velvet and a water brush to color the two poinsettia's. I fuzzy cut both of the flowers, one of the flowers I cut the small petals out and used foam tape to pop them on the top flower.  I then added foam tape to the bottom flower and added it to the top flower.  I also stamped the leaves with GKD Gold embossing powder and water colored them with GKD Fresh Asparagus Ink.  I added the three leaves to the flower with adhesive.  I used foam tape to add the flower to the card.  I finished the flower off by adding some pearls.  I finished the card off by adding the sentiment with GKD Onyx Black Ink and added some pearls.

Closer look at the card......

My last card is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card.  I am using the incentive stamp set called "Nurturing Blooms", this is a nice set if you want to stamp a quick card.  I used the GKD Small & Large Square Foil-Mates Die Sets to create the layers.  I used GKD Fresh Asparagus ink to stamp the images (I stamped off, so I would get a light color).  I added the sentiment and finished my card off by adding some sequins.  This set is free with an order of $75.00 or more.

If you missed the release party last week here are the cards I showed.
