Sweet Sunday SSSC171 - Joy
Hello everyone, I am back again. I saw this sketch from Sweet Sunday and thought I would try it. I love the sketch, it reminds me of the Mojo Monday sketch this week. If you are interested in trying your hands at making a card from this sketch click here.
The election is over and I hope you are happy with the turnout! Just remember, whomever you were going for, the country needs to come together and be one! If you are a true Christian, it doesn't matter if you are black, white, red or yellow, you should love everyone! Enough of that!
Here is my take on the sketch from Sweet Sunday. Thanks for stopping by and please come back again soon.

This card is made with the 2012 In-Color Midnight Muse card stock,
I used the "Holiday Frame" embossing folder and stamped the ornament with
the Ornament Keepsakes stamp and cut the ornament out with the matching die.
This card was inspired by Connie Stewart. She has this system called
Flash cards, just google her name and you can see what it's all about. This
is such a quick and easy card to make. I again used the "Ornament Keepsakes" stamp set
and the matching die to cut it out. I used the embossing folder "Vintage Wallpaper" on the
base of the card, I stamped the "En Francasis" background stamp to just top the card
off! Thank you Connie for the inspiration.

Graditude
Happy Fall everyone,
Here is another card I wanted to share. A very good friend of mine asked me to design a card that she could make and send out for Thanksgiving. Here is what I created. I am going to make a few myself to send out. I think they card came out beautifully. Love the fall colors. I used the technique called "Rock and Roll". You use a few ink colors ranging from light to dark. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube if you want to check it out. Don't you love Youtube, it has everything you ever wanted to know how to do on there.

Mojo Monday 266 - Season's Greeting
Hello! It's time for a brand new Mojo Monday sketch (#266), did you notice it's just Tuesday and I have it done already! This is a great sketch Julee has created for us to work with this week. It's the first sketch of November, so it's also contest week! I won October's sketch, so I'm hoping that they will like what I did with the sketch, because I love this card. Ok, you are probably thinking I say this about all of my cards. If you are interested hop on over to the Mojo Monday and create something with the sketch. With every 50 entries, there is a winner, up to a max of SEVEN winners!!! If you win, you can receive the Verve Stamps set of your choice. Good luck if you try.
I hope everyone was able to get out and vote today.....I did and waited three hours and 45 minutes in line. It's ok, it was for a good cause. I would do it all over again. Good luck to whomever you voted for. Here is my take on the sketch, if you like it, please leave a comment, I love reading them.

Going Crazy with Stampin Up Ornaments
Happy Monday Bloggers,
I hope everyone had a great weekend and has recovered from "Sandy". I pray that everyone was safe during the storm and did not have much damage! Here in Northern Virginia, we did not have too much damage. My family and friends all survived. I think the fall has come in and the crisp cold days are ahead of us. The leaves are all turning the beautiful orange and brown colors that I love. And thinking of this time of year, before we know it Christmas time will be here. So with all that said, I have several Christmas ornaments to share with you. I have been going "crazy" making these. I love the new stamp set from Stampin Up called Ornament Keepsakes and the matching dies (ok, I know I said that in my last blog), they are so versatile. You can create so many different looks with this set. I hope you enjoy looking at them and if you like them, please leave a comment. I love reading your comments. Come back soon, because I will share some cards that I have made with this set.

This ornament is similar to the ornament that is on the Christmas catalog
of Stampin Up. This was stamped on 110 lbs of white card stock with Old Olive
and Cherry Cobber SU Ink. I used some SU retired silver string. Love how this turned out!
This again was stamped with the stamp set Ornament Keepsakes and I used the
matching dies to cut this out. I used the SU rossette die to make the rosette in the
middle of the ornament.
This is the back of the ornament.
If you want a fast way of making this ornament, you can just
use DSP paper from SU and cut multiples at a time. No
stamping at all! ok, again, I love how this one came out.
This is the SU "Be of Good Cheer" paper.
This ornament is in the catalog also. This was stamped and cut out with
a different ornament stamp in the set of "Ornament Keepsakes". I used the
new die called "Snow Flurry" for the snowflakes. Isn't it just stunning!

Happy Monday bloggers,
I know I have been away..... and I know I always say, "I have been away, but I have been creating"! I have another altered art project to share with you. I was so excited to get this project done. My inspiration came from graphic 45 blogger Arlene Cuevas, she has an excellent tutorial on how she created her box here. I love how my box turned out. The picture I put inside the box is a picture of my husband and my three grandchildren, who will always have the key to my heart! If you notice there is a heart with a key on top of it.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog....please come back, I have some more "fall, autumn, halloween" type cards to share. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Here are a few pictures of my box.

Hello Bloggers,
Wow, I finally finished this Mojo Monday before Sunday. I have not done a Mojo in a while. I have been creating, but not posting. I don't know about you, I am so ready for the weekend. This Mojo was a little challenging, but this is my take on it. As always thank you so much for stopping by. I have more items to post, I hope to get them posted this weekend. Please come back and take a look.

I hope you like the cards, leave me a comment of what you think. As always, thanks for stopping by and come back soon. I'm working on a lot of projects and have something exciting to show you!

I also am working on my grandbaby's scrapbook, she will be 1 year old soon!!! Boy do they grow fast. So with all this being said, I have been busy creating and not blogging. I have had this card done for quite some time and wanted to share it with you. I hope you like it, if you do, leave me a comment, I love reading your comments. Have a wonderful week and I will be back soon!

Beautiful Butterfly Easel
Happy Wednesday bloggers,
I wanted to share this very beautiful butterfly easel card with you. I love how it turned out. The only thing, I wish it were a little larger. This was made with the Stampin Up Beautiful Butterfly die. I was inspired by addINKtive designs, she seems to be the queen of making these butterfly easel cards. I am going to try making this card with the Lifestyle nested butterflies. They have several sizes and the largest one is big. Check back to see it, I hope to get it done some time this week. As always, thanks for stopping by, if you like my card, please leave a comment or follow me. Stay cool and safe for the next couple of days, it is suppose to be 100 or more degrees the rest of the week.

Hello, my friend
TGIF!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful week and ready for the weekend, I know I am. I wanted to share with you a card I made for a card swap that I am going to tomorrow. I had to make 24 of them. I am so excited, because this is my first card swap ever!!! I'm not sure how this is going to work. If someone comes up to me and wants to swap a card I don't like....do I say "no"? I don't think I would have the heart to say "no". Anyway, I will let you know all about it later. As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my creations. If you like my card, please leave a message and or follow me. Here is my card!

Stampin Up Explosion
Hello Bloggers, I hope everyone's week is going well. I wanted to share with you some cards I made this weekend at a Stampin' Up camp. We made five beautiful cards with some of the new stamp sets.
The first one is an easel card, made with the new stamp set "Bootiful Occasions". There are four boot designs in this set. See the new clear faceted button, they are really nice. Do you see how the envelope has the beautiful clouds....just love it. You take a piece of paper and cut large scallops and just sponge the clouds on!!!!
Did you notice how I stamp on each envelope to match the card! Just love it! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards. I love all the new stamp sets and can't wait to create more. If you like my cards, please leave a comment, I love reading them. Also, follow me, so you can see more creations.

This next card was made with the new "You're Amazing" Stamp Set. To get the different colors we had to use 3 different markers. See the tickets, it was made with a wheel stamp!
This next card is a Z-Fold card made using the new "Make a Cake" stamp set. The "Happy Birthday" image is from the "You're Amazing" stamp set. Aren't these colors just wonderful!
This card was made using the "Decorate a Daisy" Stamp Set and the New "Daydream" Jumbo Stampin' Wheel. I love how this card turned out. You may not be able to tell, but the flowers are embossed. The leaves were made from the "Blossom Petals Builder" and I made the veins with a black maker. The Designer Series Paper is from the new "International Bazaar" DSP Pack. The colors and patterns in this pack are beautiful!
And lastly, this card was made using the "Affection Collection" stamp set. This card is like a Victorian design. The "LOVE" stamp is beautiful and can be used in many ways.
