Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Sketch

Hello everyone!

Kat Scrappiness - NEW April 2023 Friends Under the Sea Release

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and the Creative Crew is showcasing products from the 2023 Friends Under the Sea! I have two cards I created using a variety of NEWLY Released products from Kat Scrappiness. Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness Blog for lots of inspiration. My first card I am featuring the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set and Friends Under the Sea Paper Pad.  This is the cutest stamp set, it has several sea animals in the set with lots of sentiments.  I created a fun fold accordion card.  I am using the reverse technique on the turtle images.  I used my Misti and a stencil mat using black onyx ink to stamp the image in reverse.  I then heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder, because I colored the images with alcohol markers.  I die cut the images to use on my card.  The card will fit perfect in an A2 envelope.

Card measurements:

 Card-base: 11" x 4-1/4"

Score at 2-1/2", 3-3/4", 6-3/4" & 8-1/4"

Mats cut 4" x 4", 4" x 3-1/2" & 4" x 2-1/4"

the design paper is cut 1/8 smaller than mats

My second card is an A2 card featuring the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set, the Friends Under the Sea Paper Pad and the Underwater Adventures Backdrop Die.  I created an alcohol ink background using yupo paper and then die cut the Underwater Adventures Backdrop Die.  I created a shaker card using the  Friends Under the Sea Paper Pad for the background.  I also used the reverse technique on the seal images using the  Misti and a stencil mat.

KAT SCRAPPINESS - Hello Friend!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness sharing a card featuring the many products from Kat Scrappiness.  My card is a mini slimline card using KS Glitter Galore cardstock.  

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is a top folding mini slimline card measuring 3 1/2 x 6 top.  The background paper is called Glitter Galore premium cardstock.  I die cut the rainbow colors from the paper pad using KS Stitched Slimline Strips Dies.  I then die cut the stripes from KS Mini Slimline Double Stitched Dies.  I used KS Stitched Foliage Dies for the white leaves and the sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder from the Simple Sentiments, I used the Sentiment Sentiments to die cut all the words.  To finish off the card, I added Diamond Rhinestones.

Here is my card for your inspiration. I have used many products on my card.  The main focus is the daffodils  representing the "spring" challenge, which is a Gina K. Designs Stamp Set called Easter Blessings which was released March 2021. The sentiment is from Newton's Nook Designs Spring Roundabout Stamp Set that was released February 2021.  The scalloped circle is from Trinity Stamps called Dainty Scallop Circle.

Newton's Nook Designs - Hello Spring

Hello everyone!

 I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Cycling Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies. This is an adorable set, Newton and his dog friend taking a ride on a beautiful Spring day.  In the background I am using the NEWLY released Spring Garden Line Stencil.  

My card is an A2 size card.  I die cut the scalloped layer from the Frames and Flags die set.  I masked the sides off and ink blended the bottom dirt road and added the tulips from the Spring Garden Line Stencil.  The clouds I used ink blended using NND Clouds Stencil.  The sentiment is from the NEWLY released Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set.  I then stamped and colored Newton and his friend from along with the bundle of flowers in the basket from the Cycling Friends Stamp Set and die cut them with the coordinating dies.  To finish off the card, I stamped the bee and butterflies from the Spring Haul Stamp Set.

Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "On the Inside" stamp set illustrated by Debrah Warner. This is a 6x8 stamp set perfect for INSIDE your cards! There are 14 different inside greetings and smaller images that would make great backgrounds or coordinate with some of her past sets.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

M first card is an A2 card, I die cut the layers with Master Layouts 1 and embossed the white piece with GKD Lattice embossing folder.  I used the floral image from the Positive Greetings Stamp Set with the coordinating dies.  I colored image with Olo markers.  The sentiment is from the Positive Greetings Stamp Set also.  I stamped the large word with black ink then added clear embossing powder, then stamped and embossed the smaller words with white embossing powder on black cardstock. For the inside, I cut a piece of white card stock 4 x 5 1/4 stamped the sentiment from the NEWLY released "On the Inside" stamp set illustrated by Debrah Warner.  I added the images at the top to coordinate with the outside of the card.  I finished off the card, I added some embellishments in the center of the flowers and around the card.

My second card is also an A2 card, The scalloped layer is die cut from Master Layouts 4 and the stitched white layer is die cut from Master Layouts 2.  The coffee cups are from the "On the Inside" stamp set.  I used my Misti to line up the coffee cups on the front of the card.  I then colored them with Copic markers.  I then stamped the sentiment from the "On the Inside" stamp set.  I heat embossed with white embossing powder and used pop dots to pop the image onto the card.  To finish off the card, I added glossy accent onto the circles on the coffee cups.
