Joy Clair Designs - NEW Digital Easter Stamps!

Hello everyone!

Can you believe it is Spring!  Where did the snow go?  We hardly had any snow this winter.  With everything that is going on in the world right now, I guess Spring came in and no one noticed....at least I didn't.  Enjoy the nice weather for the next few days and stay safe.

I am here sharing a couple of cards that I created using the NEW digital stamps by Joy Clair Designs. These stamps were designed by the talented Melinda Beltran, who is on the Joy Clair Designs design team. I cannot wait to see what else she creates. Here are the pictures of the digital stamps in the Joy Clair Design store, hurry and grab them, they are on sale.

My first card is an A2 card, I used the Bonnie Bunnie set, I printed the image to the size I wanted, I used a stitched die cut to cut the image.  I added some distress ink around the edges before I took the die off the panel, I then colored the image with copics, I cut the flowers and the can images, colored them and pop them up with foam square on the card.  I love making 3D cards and these images are perfect.

Closer look at the card to show the dimension.

My next card, I created using the Bonnie Bunnie set, the sentiment and the fence with the flowers is from the the Bunny Greetings set.  I cut the fence three times, colored the flowers with copics, added some enamel dots to give the flowers dimension, I cut the bunny twice from the Bonnie Bunnie set and colored it with copics, I fuzzy cut the bow and used pop dots to pop it up on the bunny.  I finished the card by die cutting the sentiment from the Bunny Greetings set and adhered it to my card.

Closer look at the card to show the dimension on the bow and the enamel dots on the flowers.

Thank you so much, I hope I have inspired you to start creating your Easter cards.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #130 - Sketch

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a sketch.  I love sketch challenges.  I hope you enjoy creating something with this sketch. If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my take on the sketch challenge. The stamp set I am using is created by Echo Park called Easter Is Here.  It was released in January 2017

My card is an A2 card, I used some design paper from my stash, I stamped the bold Easter sentiment onto the design paper, I stamped the "some bunny loves you" on a separate piece of paper and cut them out to match the sketch.  This was a fun one!

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until March 20th to join the fun!

Joy Clair - Life is Sweet

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Designs, I am sharing with you a card I created using the Life Is Sweet Stamp Set. This is one of my favorite sets of Joy Clair Design, I love the bold sentiments in the set and the fruit are a nice size to color.

Here is my card I created using the Life Is Sweet Stamp Set:

Closer look at the card.

Here is how I created my card.

1. My card is an A2 card, measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,

2. I cut a panel at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and embossed it with an embossing folder from my stash, and added it to the base of my card,

3. I then die cut the panels in the center of my card, one with black cardstock and then white.  On the white panel, I left the die on it and inked the panel with Ranger Oxide Ink.  I sprint some water on the panel for some texture.

4. After the water dried on the panel, I stamped the sentiment using my Misti from the Life Is Sweet Stamp Set with black ink.

5.  I stamped and cut the fruit images with my scan and cut, I colored each one with copics.  I added the images to my card with adhesive and foam squares.  To give the fruit some dimension, I added glossy accent to the orange slice, clear wing of stella to the pineapple and black nuvo drops to the strawberry.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!

Rinea - Our Wedding Day!

Hello everyone,

I am here with Rinea and this month we are collaborating with Creative Embellishments.  Creative Embellishments has chipboard, wood veneers and other crafty supplies.  Today I am sharing with you a mini heart album.  The album measures 6 x 5 and has 5 chipboard hearts, it's a perfect size to add pictures and reasonably priced!  For this project I am using Violet StarstruckBlush Starstruck, and Silver Starstruck foiled papers.

Here is how I created my project.

1.  For the front of the mini heart album, I am using the Our Wedding Day words and Flourish Heart Frame 1.  I sprayed the chipboard pieces with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain Brushed Pewter (Metallic).  I set it aside to dry.

2.  I traced the Creative Embellishments chipboard hearts with a pencil onto the foiled papers.  I then cut them out and adhered the foil with liquid glue.

3.  After the glue was dried on the hearts, I used a crop-a-dile to add a hole on the left side of each heart.

4.  I then added the embellishments to the front of the heart with liquid glue.

5.  To finish the mini album, I added the metal ring to put the album together.

The album is already to add photos.  I think this would make a beautiful gift for anyone that has some wedding pictures to add.

Here is what the pages look like in the book.  I alternated the Blush Starstruck, and Silver Starstruck foiled papers.  Love the colors!

I hope you have been inspired by my project today.  Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!
