Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #129 Anything Goes

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is Anything Goes. Love these challenges because you can do whatever you want as long as your stamp set is older than a year and you tell us when it was created.

I am using a stamp set from Concord & 9th which is called Painted Thank You and was released in November of 2016.  The stamp set is retired and is not in the Concord & 9th store.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

Joy Clair Designs - Lucky Charm

Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair Designs, I am sharing with you a card I created using the Lucky Charm Stamp Set.  This is a great stamp set to have in your stash.  There are several sentiments in this set that can be used for several occasions, not just St. Patrick's Day.

Closer look at the card.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

1.  My card is an A2 card, measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,

2.  I cut a panel at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and embossed it with an embossing folder from my stash, and added it to the base of my card,

3.  I then die cut a hill from design paper from my stash, I added the sentiment from the Lucky Charm Stamp Set and added the hill to the panel of my card,

4.  I then stamped the images and colored them with copics, I added the elements to the card, using dimensionals to the lephrcane and pot of gold.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #128 - Love Is in the Air

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is one Love is in the Air challenge, you are to use red, pink and white on your card.  This sounds like a valentine's or friendship card to me.  I hope you will join in on the fun!

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

The stamp set I used is by Concord & 9th, which is one of their mini roundabout stamps called Hugs and Kisses, it was released December 2018.

I stamped the hearts from the roundabout stamp using red, pink and white, my card measure 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, I die cut the words with black card stock and adhered them to my card.  I used mirror red card stock to cut out a heart, used a foam square to add it to my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will play along with the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.

Joy Clair Designs - Let the Good Times Roll!

Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair Designs, I am sharing with you a card I created using the Unashamed and Mardi Gras stamp sets.  These stamps are so versatile, these two sets are some of my favorite in the Joy Clair line of stamps.  I don't celebrate Mardi Gras, but a lot of you out there do.  The event is February 25th, so enjoy your celebration and I hope you like my festive card I created.

Closer look at the card.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

1.  My card is an A2 card, measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,

2.  I cut a panel at 4 x 5 1/4, and heat embossed the sides with gold embossing powder.

3.  I cut another panel at 3 7/8 x 5 and splattered some ink onto the panel (set it aside to dry).

 4.  I then stamped the mask images onto cardstock and cut the cut the images from the Unashamed Stamp Set, I used my scan and cut to cut them.  I then stamped with StazOn Jet Black ink onto Rinea gold starstruck and silver starstruck foiled papers.  I then fuzzy cut the mask and adhered to the masks I stamped onto cardstock and added it to the card with adhesive.  I added the diamond and sequence I also stamped and cut out with the foiled paper onto the mask.

5.  I stamped the fleur de lis and the sentiment from the Mardi Gras Stamp Sets with gold embossing powder, die cut them out and added it to my card.

I hope I inspired you in someone to make a festive card today.  This card could easily be turned into a birthday card.
