RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG #119 - Fall Colors

Hello everyone!

Where did the summer go! I can't believe we are almost in mid-September, in my area we are still having 80-90 degree weather. I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is an inspirational photo, "Fall Colors". I hope you decide to join in on the fun!

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my card for your inspiration.  I am using the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background stamp that was released in September 2017 and the leaf and sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Stamp set Lace Leaf which coordinating die set Grateful Leaf dies which was also released in September 2017.

My card is very simple, I stamped the background with the Barnwood Background stamp on cream cardstock, I then stamped the leaf using Kaleidacolor Desert Heat ink, I then die cut three "grateful" from the Grateful Leaf die set and added it to my card, I stamped the sentiment from the Lace Leaf set.  I finished it off by ink blending the edges and adding some splatters to the background.

Thanks again for stopping by, please don't forget to stop over at the Retro Rubber Challenge blog and join the fun and check out the beautiful projects the design team members have created. You have until September the 10th to join in on the fun!

  1. Donna, that leaf set is one of my faves, I used it earlier in the year for a TicTacToe at RR. I love the rich orangey-red of the leaf on your card, beautiful. Claire x
