Friday, March 31, 2017

Hello everyone!

I have another card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  This is a quick post because I only have a few hours before the bloghop closes.

I am using the new Close to My Heart set called Tea-rrific.  It is from the Stamp of the Month for this month.  When I saw this, I had to call my good friend Jetti  (Gigi Zone) who is a CTMH consultant to purchase this!  Of course, I had to get some other things.

Thursday, March 30, 2017

Hello everyone!

I am back playing along with the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  For all you coffee cardmaking people, I hope you have had a chance to play along.  It is so much fun to see all the different designs that fellow crafters create!  And if you are like me, I love a nice cup of coffee every morning.

Here is my card, I am using the Gina K Designs clear stamp set "Coffee", which is illustrated by Claire Brennan.  There are so many images and sentiments on this set for every occasion.  Also, Gina K Designs is a Super Sponsor and you have a chance to win a gift card to spend at the Gina K store......Good luck!!!

Here is how I created my card:

1.  A2 card,
2.  My layers are from paper I had in my stash,
3.  I stamped my images in GKD Color Companions In the Navy,
5.  I then stamped them again with some versamark and added some clear embossing powder on top and heat embossed them,
6.  Stamped my sentiment with the In the Navy ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder, then added it to my card,
7.  Finished the card off, by adding small rheinstones in the center of the flowers.

Here is a closer look of the emobssed images, doesn't it remind you of pfaltzgraff dishes?

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Leave me a comment on how you enjoyed seeing my card, I love reading them.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #59 - Sketch Challenge

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with Retro Rubber challenge blog and we have a sketch challenge for you.  I don't know about you I love sketch challenges!  This one is such a cool one to play with.  Here is the picture to help you join in on the fun.

No automatic alt text available.

Here is my take on the sketch.  I am using one of the MFT Pure Innocence stamps called Hello Cupcake.  This stamp was released sometime in 2011, but is now retired so I could not link to the stamp.  However, if you love MFT Innocence stamps like I do, you can get some of the retired stamps as digital stamps on Etsy, here is the link!  And Hello Cupcake is in this store!  My sentiment is from Avery Elle set called "So Happy" which was released June 2014.

Here is how I put my card together:

I colored the image with copics, I added my layers and finished my card off with enamel dots.

Thanks again for stopping by, please don't forget to stop over at the Retro Rubber Challenge blog and join the fun and check out the beautiful projects the design team members have created. You have until April 7th to join in on the fun! Leave me a comment to tell me how you liked my card, I love to read them.

Sunday, March 26, 2017

Hello everyone!

I am here with the Christmas Card Challenges, and the challenge is "mitten".  Doesn't that sound like fun.  Be sure to check out the blog over at CCC to see what the design team has created!

Here is my take on the challenge:

I am using the Reverse Confetti stamp set called "Smitten Mittens".  I used the Confetti Cuts Smitten Mittens to die cut them out.  The frame is also Reverse Confetti.  I used some design paper in the background so the mitten will stand out .

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge. You will have two weeks to complete
your project. Check out the Christmas Card Challenges blog for more inspiration and to link your project.

I am sharing with you today a fairly new stamp, when I saw this, I just had to have it.  It is a Hero Arts stamp called "Antique Bee and Flowers".  I stamped the image on Kraft cardstock and colored it with Prismacolor Pencils.  I accented the bee with glossy accents and used my gold pen by Copics to accent the berries around the image.  The sentiment is from the Hero Arts set "Thank You Messages"

Closer look of the bee with the glossy accents.
