Happy Halloween

Saturday, October 31, 2015

Hello everyone,

Just stopping in to say "Happy Halloween".  I hope you all have a wonderful day and if you have children they have a fun time trick or treating tonight.

I am sharing a Halloween card with the "crazy" birds that everyone has been raving about.  I was inspired by Richele Christensen from Californiagirl.  For this card, I used the Tim Holtz bat stencil, and used black embossing paste.  Isn't that just the coolest background.  For the base of the card, I emobssed it with a star embossing folder.  After the paste dried, I used some of Tim Holtz distress inks to get the color in the background.  I colored the bird and the other accessores with Tim Holtz distress pens.  I used the stencils to cut eat piece and popped them up on my card.  I finished it off with the moon and the sentiment.

Thanks again for stopping by, please come back again soon.

MFT Challenges - Season's Greeting

Thursday, October 29, 2015

Hello all,

I am here playing along with MFT Color and Sketch challenges.  I just love the new release from MFT, I think I bought all of it.  The little elves are just adorable, I thought this challenge was perfect to use the Santa's Elves stamp set.  I used the little elve holding the present and added the Christmas tree.  I colored them with copics that I thought matched the colors in the color challenge. I really loved the colors, they reminded me of vintage colors.  I added the sentiment from the MFT Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set and finished the card with enamel dots.

Here is a closer side view.  I popped the elve up on pop dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!

Hellow everyone,

I hope all of you who celebrate Halloween are ready.  There is only four more days, and the best thing about it this year is it is on a Saturday.

I am stopping in to share another Halloween card with you.  I just love MFT and I love this little witch and all the different images the stamp set has in it.  I have used the witch, frog, bat and some pumpkins.  I have colored the images with copics.  I am playing along with Colour Q which is a color challenge.   I hope you will go check out the challenge and join in.   I have also entered this card into the Dragonfly Journeys challenge - October colors/everything goes.

Here are the colors and my card....
