Happy Birthday - CAS Colour & Sketches Challenge #41 - Colours

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

Happy Hump day bloggers,

I hope you are all having a wonderful week.  I don't know about where you live, but we are having a heat wave here.  Stay cool and enjoy your day.  I am joining the CAS Clean & Simple Challenge today.  The theme is a rainbow and you have to use at least five colors on your project.  Oh what fun!!!  The first card I made, I only had four colors, so I had to do another one.  One cannot have to many cards, right!  Don't you love this stroke stamp?  Oh what possibilities with it.  I finished the piece off with black cardstock.  I think cards look so nice when they have a small black border around it.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am working on some more items to post.  Please take some time and check out the rest of my blog.  If you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you enjoy my blog, please follow me....click on the link on the right side of my blog "follow me".

Have a great week!

Trick or Treat - MFTWSC140

Tuesday, September 10, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

Here’s my card for this week’s My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. This sketch I thought was going to be a tricky one with the arrow and chevron elements.  I used my fishtail die to make the chevrons.  I enjoyed the challenge.

I had the new Authentique Collection - Thrilling and could not wait to use it.  I love the subtle vintage look.  I used one of the images in the collection as my main point.  I distressed the edges and ink them with Distress Ink - Vintage photo to keep the vintage look.  This card was a fun card to create!  If you want to join, here is the link.

Thanks again for stopping by.  I am working on some more items to post.  Please take some time and check out the rest of my blog.  If you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you enjoy my blog, please follow me....click on the link on the right side of my blog "follow me".

I'm back again with a different challenge from the Sweet Shop Sketch challenge.  I enjoy using fishtail flags on my cards, so when I saw this challenge I just had to make a card using the sketch.   I had the perfect paper for this challenge.  It is the Bo-Bunny birthday paper, "Surprise".  I used the "surprise birthday" for the base of my card.  For the fishtail, I used the Jillibean Soup Staples II, Yellow Salt and for the background I used Recollections 80 lb smooth cardstock, Red.  The Bo-Bunny surprise paper has so many wonderful colors, that there are so many possibilities.  I'm sure I will be using this paper again to create some birthday cards.  The image is a digi-stamp from Sweet and Sassy Stamps.  This digi-stamp is called Party Hat Cocoa.  They have a whole line of Cocoa the mouse.  Hop over to Sweet and Sassy and check them out.  You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for stopping by, come back soon. I am working on some more items to post.  Please take some time and check out the rest of my blog.  If you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you enjoy my blog, please follow me....click on the link on the right side of my blog "follow me".

Penguin Love - Freshly Made Sketch 102

Monday, September 9, 2013

Hello again Bloggers!

I am joining the Freshly Made Sketches at the last minute.  If you want to join you still have a couple of hours.  Thank you Cindy for creating such a nice sketch!  I saw this earlier in the week and just getting around to creating my card.  I knew what I wanted to do, it's just making the time to create it.  I love how it came out.  This card has a lot of dimension to it.  I popped up the snowflake and the center.  I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but I used some of my new Zig Wink of Stella Brushes.  If you don't know about these brushes they are very cool.  They have a shimmer ink.  It really makes your project look nice!

Thanks again for stopping by again.  I love reading your comments if you choose to leave one.  Come back again soon!  I have a couple of more sketches I am working on.

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I am back again to share with you one of my cards I made this weekend.  I love my Memory Box dies.  I don't seem to use them like I should.  I used the window die on this card.  It really looks like you are looking out the window and the sky is dark and gray with bats flying around.  Enjoy looking at this card and if you would like browse some of my other creations.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back!
