Mojo Monday 238

Saturday, April 28, 2012

Hello Bloggers,

I hope everyone's weekend has started out to be a great one.  The only question I have is where did the Summer go?  It has been cold here in Northern Virgina.  I hope it warms up here soon!  I didn't get any takers on my blog candy, so maybe I will try again in the next couple of weeks.  Please stop by again soon.  I have a card to share, which is the Mojo Monday that I try and do each week.  I never seem to get it done on Monday's so I should start calling it Mojo Saturday!  I'm also going to use this card for a card swap that I am in.  I hope who ever gets this card love it as much as I do.  Leave me a comment if you like my card, I love reading them.  The recipe is below.  As always thanks for stopping by.

Window Wall Frame

Saturday, April 21, 2012

Hello Bloggers,

I hope all of you are doing well.  I have had another busy week and have not been able to post.  I made a quick card last Saturday for a baby shower I was going to and have not been in my craft room since.  I should take a picture of how my room looks right now.  It is a mess and I am trying to organize, yet again.  I know you all can attest to what I am saying.  So, I have been in my room all evening trying to organize and clean it up.  I haven't gotten very far, but I wanted to share something with you.  I bought this frame from Pier 1 about a month ago and have had it hanging for about three weeks.  If you are interested in purchasing it, I was on the website and it is on sale for $22.40.   I finally decided to put some cards on it and put my stampin up "Always Bird" behind the window.  I have a little tidbit about hanging this.  It is very light, so I got some of those 3M Interlocking Fasteners to hang it, so I didn't have to put anymore holes in the wall.  Isn't this cool!  If you are interested in purchasing the bird, send me an email and I can order it for you, or check with your local stampin up rep.

OK, you may think I am a little desperate, but I have some blog candy to give away.  If you follow me, next Friday, I will use random.org and someone can win a Memory Box die.  The picture is below.  To follow me, you just have to click at the bottom to do so.  Good luck, and tell me how you like my picture frame.

AND HERE IS THE GIVE AWAY IF YOU FOLLOW MY BLOG!!!

Mojo Monday 235 - Somebunny Loves You

Sunday, April 8, 2012

Happy Easter Weekend everyone.  I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend with your family and friends.  I have been pretty busy this week, but I have managed to finish a few Easter cards I wanted to share with you.  I made this card for my neice, it is also for the Mojo Monday #235 this week.  The egg is made by Cheery Lyn design, I cut the scrolled egg out with SU old olive paper and used some double sided sticky paper cutting out to the shape of the egg.  I then used some extra fine glitter and rubbed it on the sticky side of the egg.   The stamp set is from Serendipity, the bunny is actually holding a carrot, but I used an Xacto Knife to cut out the little rabbit paw. I lifted the paw edge up and tucked the egg under it.  Isn't he adorable?

Thanks for looking and if you like my blog or my cards please follow me.  Just go to the bottom of my blog on the right hand side and click the follow button.  See you tomorrow with a couple of other Easter Cards.  Bless you all and have a wonderful Easter!
